With an overwhelming response, the Kick‑off Briefing successfully marked the exciting start of the event. In 2026, GS1 Hong Kong received registrations from over 160 teams comprising student and professional innovators, as well as data enthusiasts, all eager to tackle real‑world challenges through data and technology. This strong turnout reflects the credibility and momentum built by the success of previous editions, and it heightens our anticipation as we look forward to witnessing the groundbreaking innovations from these talented teams.

Since the briefing, participants have begun exploring hands‑on IoT technologies, sharpening their problem‑solving skills, and networking with fellow innovators in preparation for the Final Pitch Day on 29 March 2026.
