Wu Zhi Qiao – Youth Award Ceremony
The Youth Award Ceremony is a platform to show our organization’s recognition to youth voluntary participation in our sustainable rural development works in the mainland and Hong Kong.
Under the direction of Wu Zhi Qiao (WZQ) Chairman Mr. Wong Kam Sing (former Secretary for the Environment), low-carbon sustainable rural revitalization will be its key focus. The Award Ceremony would be a highlight event as it is also supported by Lee Hysan Foundation.
Lee Hysan Foundation and Wu Zhi Qiao share a 10-year strong partnership in engaging thousands of youth volunteers from more than 20 tertiary institutions in the Mainland and Hong Kong to make contributions in building footbridges, village centres, modern earth houses, as well as revitalizing the linkage of place and people through community development that further improved the livelihood and bonding of villagers in remote rural areas in both places.
